November 21st 2024 - Release Day for MaXXdesktop v2.2.0 (aka Octane) Alpha-1

Personal Message

First, I want to extend my  gratitude to all of you out there who are supporting the MaXXdesktop initiative, since the beginning for some of you. It has been so long since the last time... have to relearn and ease into the groove again. Last version of MaXXdesktop was released in summer 2020, way too long for sure and a lot of improvements needs to be shared.  The development didn't stop, just got sloooow and re focused on supporting what I was-doing, still-do, at Harvard.  Basically, computer-vision, HPC and AI. MaXXdesktop is the perfect desktop for AI/ML and computer vision, and I will gladly share (what I can) back into future versions. Finally, I need help to continue the roadmap and stay motivated... your move!
